TEN/MET intends to form girls education national caucus group with the overall objective of having a
collective voice to advocate for the provision of education to teen mothers and girls. Other objectives
are ;
1. Promoting awareness and generating understanding on girls education and discuss existing
challenges so collectively to chart a way forward
2. Developing tools and action plans for further advocacy on girls education
3. Creating platform for caucuses to discuss issues related to girls’ education
4. Harmonize different education stakeholders efforts in supporting girls education

The caucus group meeting is expected to be held on 25th and 26th August 2021 in Dar es salaam.
